SHAQUAN MCDOWELL

EMERSON DUDLEY
VICE PRESIDENT
Our Foundation And Formation
This story begins long before today, with our first president George Washington. It was he who warned the country against splitting into a two party system, out of fear that it would lead us down a road of destruction.
Here we are 200 years later and not much has changed, other than the fact that we know, he was exactly right (Talk about freaky prediciton!). Within our governmental system we have become incapable of accomplishing anything significant, because of Donkey's and Elephant's jumping down one anothers neck.
Thus, the Purple Party was born. Two high school sophomores , President Shaquan McDowell and Vice President Emerson Dudley, came up with the idea of creating a political platform where ideas could be supported and rejected solely on their merit and not because of the party from which they came.
Too long have too many great ideas been disposed because one party is unwilling to support the other, just because of color. Its Political prejudice. A revolution is necessary.
That's where the Purple Party comes in. Aimed at the youth (though all are encouraged to support), the Purple Party focuses on enlightening America's young people on the value of working in a unit rather than splitting in two. Through this method of targeting the leaders of tomorrow hopes are that the large level of political discourse experienced today will be lessen.
